Car Care Ministry
Do you enjoy repairing vehicles? If so, consider getting involved in CLC's Car Care Ministry. We will be performing maintenance and minor repairs for low-income individuals who need reliable and safe transportation.
Now seeking volunteers to perform minor auto repairs.

Teammates Mentoring Program
Holmes Elementary has asked our church if we would find several men and women who are willing to serve as mentors to their elementary boys and girls. Please contact Curt Jones
for more information.
The Lincoln Public Schools currently has 719 children who are waiting to be assigned a mentor. If you have the desire to make a positive difference in the life of a young person, consider becoming a Teammates Mentor in 2016. It only requires meeting with a child for one hour per week over the lunch hour during the school year.

Serves as the hands and feet of Christ while meeting in practical and tangible ways, the needs of individuals who live in the neighborhood surrounding our Central Campus.
Home Maintenance and Repair Ministry
Join us as we launch the Home Maintenance and Repair Ministry!
Perform home maintenance and minor repairs for single moms, the disabled, and elderly.
(Bi-monthly) Provide low-income and homeless individuals and families quarters, laundry detergent, and supplies to allow them to wash and dry their clothes, and visit with them while they complete their laundry.
Society of St. Andrew Food Rescue and Distribution Ministry (Seasonal)
Clean fresh vegetables and fruits from local fields after harvest, then donate the produce to local food distribution networks for distribution to the poor.

Friendship Home supports, shelters and is an advocate for women and children who are victims of domestic violence. Friendship Home seeks to provide safe & confidential emergency shelter and transitional shelter, as well as crisis intervention services, case management, and emotional support to women and children in shelter and those who are waiting for shelter. Lincoln Crisis Pregnancy Center provides a variety of free services and programs to meet client needs. They offer services to anyone with pregnancy related concerns. This includes free pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds for qualifying clients, referrals, information about pregnancy options, emotional support, maternity and baby supplies, parenting classes, and education about healthy relationships, sexuality, and healthy life choices.

Christ Lutheran Church collects food items on the 2nd Sunday of each month and delivers them to the People’s City Mission distribution center at 26th & O Street.
Donations may be placed into shopping carts in the South Ministry Center & Commons. Monetary donations accepted; please note "CLC Food Pantry" on your offering envelope if you would like to make a donation and the funds will be sent to the People’s City Mission for the purpose of purchasing additional items needed.
